Was told about this Salvadoran Restaurant/ Bakery. The service was great. The pupusas were delicious. We ordered fried Yuka & chicharon it was perfect. Our Chicken tamales were delicious also. Only wish they were tad bigger. But can't complain otherwise. Would order them again. The orange & Carot juice was perfect Sorry we were hungry and took photos half eaten. Definitely coming back when we pass though

My sister recommended Xinia’s while I was looking for something to snack on. The pupusas are absolutely delicious! I had a bean/cheese/jalapeño, pesto/garlic/cheese, and a plain cheese. My tummy was so happy! There’s a drive-thru, too!

Get the delache cake. I didn't get to taste it because I don't eat cake but everybody at work said it was great. The best one they've ever had. Staff is great and helpful. I recommend this place because a small and you feel like you can relate with the people that work there

We ordered pupusas, not knowing much of the place. The pupusas were great. My mother is very judging with sauces but she liked them. The service was very nice, the guy serving us had a very nice presence and was cheery. The place had nice decorating for Christmas, they also had music that was pleasant but in my personal view it need something more. I loved the food, my mom will guarantee go there again.

If you’re looking for a meal that feels like “homemade”, this is a great place to satisfy your craving. Staff seems energetic, polite and respectful, and they even ask if you’re allergic to any of the ingredients on the food you ask for which is not very common, that way they put your health first. Prices are reasonable and the taste is great. When you’re done eating your main meal, you can get some pastries right there as well and they’re worth it.

I love the pan con pavo. For me it blends Thanksgiving turkey and gravy with Salvadorian flavors all on a sandwich. I could eat it once a week. Also highly recommend the Nuegados de Yuca. It's a sweet and savory treat. Everyone is really nice too.

Perhaps some of the best papusa and tamales I have had in the Bay Area. Amazing stuff! A good amount of bean stuffing in the papusa, not too much dough, and all the way to edge of the papusa. Same with tamales -- a good amount of stuffing and not too much masa, plus it was super soft and not dried out even though it was sitting outside on our table for a while. Unique drink made from barley (maybe a tad too sweet). All of these were made vegan and delicious. The person in charge said it's his mother's recipe, and the mother was working there too. A sweet family run small business. You can tell this place is for locals and repeat visitors. Friendly, chill vibes and service. It's just a drag to get to El Sobrante

This place is a gem! I had the d Desayuno Típico and the Nuegados De Yuca. The eggs were perfect over medium, and the fried plantains, and frijoles with crema were delicious and served with perfect hand made tamales. The Nuegados De Yuca is definitely worth trying; crispy on the outside and soft and slightly chewy on the inside.... Delicious! They went really well with the latte, which was also good. Add the friendly service from people who obviously take pride in their business and you have a winner. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.
